1. General

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of accommodation services provided by Shuttle Service SL (trading as Buba House Barcelona), Carrer Aragó 237, Principal, 08007 Barcelona, Spain (CIF B65189698).

By completing a reservation at Buba House, the guest accepts these terms in full. Buba House is a 100% female-only hostel. All dormitory beds are exclusively reserved for women.

2. Bookings

Reservations can be made directly on our website (best price guaranteed) or through authorised third-party platforms. A booking is confirmed only once full or partial payment has been received and a confirmation email is sent to the guest.

The guest must be of legal age (18+) to make a reservation. The booking holder is responsible for ensuring all members of the group are female and comply with these terms.

3. Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation & Standard Rate You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 3 days before the arrival date. If you cancel within 3 days of arrival, you will be charged for the first night. The full amount of the reservation will be charged 3 days prior to arrival.

Partially Refundable Rate A 30% charge applies at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged 3 days prior to arrival. If cancelled within 3 days of arrival, the full amount is charged and is non-refundable.

Non-Refundable Rate The full amount is charged at the time of booking. No refund is available under any circumstances. You may change the dates of your stay once, up to 3 days before arrival, at the same price or paying the difference if the new rate is higher. If any full or partial cancellation is made, the amount paid remains non-refundable regardless of the reason.

4. Refunds & Returns

Eligible refunds (under Free Cancellation or Partially Refundable rates) will be processed within 5–10 business days using the same payment method used at the time of booking. Buba House does not offer cash refunds.

In the event of a no-show, the full reservation amount is charged and no refund is issued, regardless of the rate plan selected.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely via BBVA / Redsys (card payments) or Cloudbeds (online bookings). We accept Visa, Mastercard, and major debit cards. Card details are never stored on our servers.

All prices are in euros (EUR) and exclude Barcelona tourist tax.

6. Tourist Tax (Taxa Turística)

Barcelona city tourist tax applies to all stays: €5.50 per person per night (up to 7 nights), plus a 10% regional surcharge, as per current Barcelona City Council regulations. This tax is not included in the accommodation price and will be collected separately.

7. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: from 14:00. 24/7 self check-in via smart lock — access code sent by email after booking.
Check-out: by 11:00. Late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
Early check-in and late check-out requests must be made in advance and are not guaranteed.

8. House Rules

Buba House is a female-only property. Men are not permitted in dormitory areas at any time.
Quiet hours: 23:00 – 08:00.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.
Buba House is not responsible for loss or theft of personal belongings. Lockers are provided for valuables.

9. Liability

Shuttle Service SL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our accommodation services, including but not limited to travel disruptions, illness, or force majeure events.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be resolved before the courts of Barcelona.
